In order to verify the claim we checked mainstream media for such reports but found nothing, we further found that Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja had departed on an official visit to Russia on the invitation of the Moscow government to observe the Russian presidential elections 2024 on March 14, 2024, after which speculation gained traction and a prominent journalist Javed Chaudhry alleged that Sikandar Sultan Raja has told that his life is in danger in Pakistan and election commission along with other civil institutions are under control of Pakistan Army.

The viral claim appears to have been shared with the intent to raise suspicions about the integrity of the Election Commission and to paint a narrative of political interference and danger to individuals associated with the electoral process.

Our fact check confirms that there is no concrete evidence to support the claim that Chief Election Commissioner Sikandar Sultan Raja revealed danger to his life and army interference in the Election Commission. While there may have been speculative statements made by a journalist, they do not constitute conclusive evidence of such claims. This emphasizes the importance of verifying information from credible sources before spreading it on social media platforms to prevent the dissemination of false or misleading narratives.
