On X, a verified account with more than twenty thousand followers claimed that newly elected Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur took bribe of 30 million from smugglers to establish non custom vehicles business in Peshawar.
On X (formerly Twitter), the video was shared here gaining upwards of 4.5K views.
We checked mainstream media for such news but did not find any such report. contrary to the claims, reverse image search revealed that the shared picture is taken from a Facebook Page “Ncp Cars Dir Swat Malakand Kpk” created in September 2019. The image was posted on this page on October 2022.
Our factcheck confirmed that an unrelated image was shared with baseless allegations to propagate false claims against the newly elected Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
